Robert is the Senior Economist for Zions Bank, where he monitors economic indicators and public policy developments for one of the nation's leading financial services companies. Founded in 1873, Zions Bank operates throughout much of the western United States as a division of Zions Bancorporation.

His research focuses on macroeconomics, demographics, financial markets, and public policy. He regularly advises policymakers and briefs business and civic groups across the region, and is frequently called on for expert analysis in print, radio, and television.
